Relationships are the oxygen of our emotional life — essential to our wellbeing. They can bring joy and healing, but also be complex and challenging.
Intimate relationships often reawaken early experiences and unconscious scripts about closeness, separation, abandonment, trust, engulfment, and whether our needs will be met.
As a relationship therapist, I help you work through your relationship difficulties by listening to and understanding both perspectives without taking sides. In this work, the client is the relationship itself.
I also support clients in non-romantic relationships, including:
Friendships
Business partnerships
Sibling relationships (adult)
Parent–adult child relationships
Relationship therapy can help you with:
Conflict resolution and managing repeated arguments
Deepening emotional connection and conscious relating
Improving communication: active listening, clear communication, assertiveness, and healthy boundaries
Rekindling passion and restoring physical and emotional intimacy
Rebuilding trust after infidelity or affairs
Working through commitment issues and ambivalence about long-term partnership
Navigating major life transitions: marriage, becoming (or being) a parent, empty nest, retirement, serious illness, relocation, career change, and midlife shifts
Healing trauma and attachment wounds that affect relationships
Exploring and negotiating consensual non-monogamy and open-relationship agreements with integrity
Support through breakups, separation, and divorce.
